Actygea (ACTY)

Actygea is a biotechnology start-up pursuing the development of industrial strains and upstream / downstream fermentation processes for the production of commercially interesting metabolites and enzymes of bacterial and fungal origin. Actygea offers services of biomass, metabolites, recombinant protein production and purification from bacteria and fungi. Various sizes of fermenters are available for production as are downstream apparatus including microfiltration units, continuous centrifugation systems and cell disrupting apparatus.
Main tasks in the project

  • Improvement, production and processing of the “material” isolated and identified within the project and required for field testing
  • Production of bacteria formulations and of biosurfactants, bioemulsifiers and dispersants (WP3 and WP4)
